Ralph Burgess

Today is a very solemn day for me and my family. It is Holy Thursday in which we recognize and celebrate the last supper, but also we must lay an amazing man to rest.


I love you Ralph, and I am so glad you are back with Aunt Jane. We will miss you greatly.


Burgess, Sr., Ralph Age 90, passed away on April 18, 2011 in Carrollton, TX. Born March 24, 1921 to Jules and Annie Burgess in Dallas, TX. Ralph is preceded in death by his parents and wife of 62 years, Dorothy Jane Burgess. He is survived by his children, Jerri Anne Hammons of Alvarado, TX, Sue Clayton of New Port News, VA, Bo Burgess of Salado, TX and Clarlee Lawry of Grapevine, TX. Ralph is also survived by his sisters, Dorothy Craig of Austin, TX and Pauline Johnson of Carrollton, TX, 12 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Burgess was a life long resident of Carrollton, TX and worked for Ford Motor Co. for over 32 years. He also proudly served in the United States Navy from 1942-1945. Ralph took great pride in serving his community and held many roles including Charter Member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, President of the Carrollton Little League Baseball Association from 1962 - 1975 and was a volunteer for the Carrollton Fire Dept. He was loved by many and will be deeply missed. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, 4-20-2011 from 7-9 pm at Rhoton Funeral Home. Funeral Services will take place on Thursday, 4-21-2011 at 1 pm at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Carrollton, TX.

What I'm Loving Wednesday

Its been a while since I have posted so I am linking up with Jamie for What I'm Loving Wednesday!

I'm Loving how busy it is at my office, Assurance Screening, we are rocking out new clients and it is awesome!

I'm Loving how my little girl wants to hold her own bottle now, she is getting so big!




I'm Loving I am only 12 lbs away from my prepregnancy weight!
I'm Loving my husband and I had out first night out since Mary was born!


I'm Loving that this weekend is Easter and we get to celebrate Mary's first with our Family, she will be wearign these two dresses, one for Easter Vigil on Saturday and the other on Easter Sunday.
